Investors are watching the Euro closely because they want to know what the European Central Bank (ECB) will do with interest rates. The Euro went up in value compared to the US Dollar, which shows that people are interested in what the ECB will say.

The ECB has a tough decision to make because inflation in the Eurozone is high, at 5.3%, which is much higher than the ECB’s goal of 2%.

Experts have different opinions. Some think the ECB might raise interest rates by a small amount, like 0.25%, because of a report from Reuters that talks about higher inflation next year. On the other hand, some experts say the ECB might wait to raise rates until the economy is doing better and inflation is more stable.
